Oz Comic Con Perth is so close that we can nearly touch it. Touch it in appropriate places of course. To celebrate I thought I'd cast my mind back to last year and show off a couple of my favourite cosplayers. This was the standard set by 2013, I'm hoping for 2014 to be even better!
Bane
If you didn't like this Bane cosplayer, then I'm sorry to tell you that your opinions are terrible. Normally the 'skits' that people do during cosplay comps are cringeworthy at best, but this guy slayed and totally owned the room. He could have told the crowd he was going to slit the throats of newborn kittens and he still would have copped a standing ovation.
Mad Moxxi (Borderlands)
If I'm being totally honest, I haven't played enough Borderlands to actually know who Mad Moxxi is. BUT I know a striking cosplay when I see it. She made me want to play the game and find out more about this character! If that isn't the sign of a kickass bit of cosplay, then I don't know what is.
Iron Man
To say Julian of Dadpool Cosplay is pretty good at dressing up as stuff is a gigantic understatement. This guy is a total wizard and I'm in awe of what he's able to do. I believe at this year's Comic Con he'll be debuting his new Deathstroke as well as bringing along Iron Patriot. I look forward to giddily asking him for a photo at some point on the weekend.
