STGCC (Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention) Preview! Whole Lotta' Iron Manz!

I am insanely jealous that fellow FP contributor, Jacinta, is right now enjoying the epic STGCC - Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention!

Thankfully, she has sent through an early tease of her time there. Feast your eyes on this preview gallery which will have to tide us over until Jacinta gets back and can explain everything she saw. While we wait, I'll do my best to make sense of some of these, starting with this absolutely stunning LIFE-SIZE Hall of Armor from Iron Man 3 (I hear an unlucky stunt double is entombed in one of them)...

And that's just the tip. See more of the wondrous beast that is STGCC... after the jump!

Now this is going to be a little Iron Man heavy so, if that's cause for concern, here's a Green Lantern to cleanse the palate...

Not this looks to be a Super Alloy Green Lantern which I think means that he's made (at least in part) of diecast metal. Got a lot of extra pieces too by the looks of it. People still like Green Lantern, right? Right?

Although he's not quite as impressive as the life-size Iron Men, these kids seem to be appropriately curious/terrified of this life-size Spider-Man. Spidey's pretty muscular for a teenager. Or is he like 50 now?

Now this is something I far better understand. The shawarma scene recreated with 12 inch Hot Toys figures!...

The most important thing in the above picture? That's the Mark Ruffalo Bruce Banner, a figure that had not yet been revealed. Does that mean he's coming out now? What's the head sculpt like? Hopefully Jacinta will have some more detailed photos of this one. Right, Jacinta? You got it? Right?

And now back to Iron Man! Here's the fully gold Midas armor. I believe it's a convention exclusive, available for pre-order at the event? Or was it available to buy. I don't know! I'm stuck here! Hopefully Jacinta will tell us!

Although I know what this is! These are all the individual parts that are required to make a Hot Toys Iron Man figure. There are literally hundreds of tiny uniquely sculpted pieces! Impressive!

And this is the Tony Stark "Mechanic" figure as seen when he raids the Mandarin's mansion. He's battle damaged and comes with beat up armor parts and improvised gadgets...

And this is the regular Tony Stark figure posing in front of the Hall of Armor! Those light up rectangular boxes that each Iron Man is sitting in are also available for sale and connect together so that you can put together something similar of your own...

And I don't know where these are from, but it looks like they're delving pretty deep into the various armors, even those that were barely glimpsed...

I'm going to assume that they are these Super Alloy figures from Play Imaginative, but I have no idea what scale they are. They look to be 12 inch, but that is CRAZY if they are going to release every single armor in that scale. (Why? Because there are 42 of them, and they usually cost a few hundred dollars). Looking forward to more details on this...

And that's your tease! Consider your appetite whet! I can't wait for Jacinta to get back and spill all the beans!
