Pre-Order Hot Toys 1/4 Scale Dark Knight! Arkham City Catwoman! And 3A Halo!

Ruthlessly determined to bankrupt us, our pals at Sideshow have updated with a handful of extremely appealing pre-orders to tempt your whimpering credit card out of hiding. How can I not share these with you!

Each time the genius artisans at Hot Toys release a figure I'm inclined to insist that it's the definitive version of that character. I certainly felt that way after seeing their recent Dark Knight Rises 1/6th scale Batman, but no - they prove me wrong by now offering up this 1/4 scale version! What does that mean? That this guy is even bigger, now standing about 18 inches high! Check this out...

I have so many more images, and all the pre-order info of this bounty... after the jump!

At eighteen inches you'd be inclined to think that this was a statue, much like the Premium Format figures, but no... this is a fully articulated Hot Toys figure decked out with all the interchangeable parts and accessories...

And his gear isn't limited to that which he uses in the most recent film...

Of particular note is this switch out head to recreate his freeing of the hostages towards the end of The Dark Knight. No pupils! Just like the comics, right!

Here's a clearer shot of the environmental base complete with a ton of vanquished villain masks...

And, of course, a perfect Christian Bale head sculpt to top it all off...

If you're a hardcore Batman fan this has to be tempting. You can secure yours right now, here:

Next up, I love the Play Arts Square Enix 9 inch super articulated Arkham Asylum/City figures, and this new addition is of particular interest:

Goggles Catwoman is my favourite ever Catwoman and a super articulated version is the perfect match for the Batman I already have...

A billion display possibilities with this one...

I also believe there to be an alternate head with the goggles down, and I think some alternate hands. I'll be picking it up for sure. You can pre-order her for yourself here:
Square Enix Batman - Arkham City (PLAY ARTS KAI)

And finally I've sung the praises of 3A toys before, and what cooler company than those guys to tackle 1/6th scale Halo figures! One of their first offerings is this Commander Carter figure:

He has a rubber under suit stretched over a fully articulated body (even his individual fingers are articulated!) and the armour clips over the top and has LED lighting in the helmet. His backpack is attached via magnets...

ThreeA has a huge following and I can't image these will stick around long. You can secure your right here:  Microsoft - HALO Collectibles Commander Carter 1:6 Scale Collectible Figure - THREEA</

Such a huge year for high end collectibles! I am having to really plan out what to pick up. Stay tuned though because I can promise a review for a very cool new Sideshow 1/6th scale figure late next week!
