The merchandising scene in Spaceballs was one of the best (Spaceballs: The Flamethrower!). And although I think it would be awesome to see some official parody merchandise from the classic film.... it never really happened. Could you imagine a line of 3 3/4" action figures or even better, highly detailed figures to match the
new Star Wars 6" line? Or an official Lego series like my
custom Eagle 5? Everything else in the world has been revisited and ruined over and over, yet Spaceballs merchandise remains a product of Mel Brooks' imagination.
