Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013 Day 24: Daddy.

Deck the halls! It's the final day of the Star Wars Lego advent calendar which means sweet, sweet freedom for me! And I think we all know what we're going to get, so let's not waste any more time!

Let's blast open Door Number 24!

 And... it's...

Jango Fett in a Santa Claus costume! Because... well... because... HEY LOOK IT'S JANGO FETT IN A SANTA COSTUME!

Never mind that it doesn't make sense for this ruthless bounty hunter to be dressed as old Saint Nick. Never mind the fact that the colours hideously clash. Lego is mashing together a well-known character AND the holidays, so I guess that's good enough for me.

And look! Instead of a death-trap jetpack, he has a bag filled with colourful presents for all his clone children!

Why? Because if you recall yesterday's gift, his jetpack is powering his sleigh...

HOORAY! Now he will travel door to door, shooting people in the face! Merry Christmas, Lego. I've always felt that Santa needed a flamethrower.

And for those keeping score, each day I pit this calendar against the Jurassic Park Playmobil one. And as interesting as Jango is I have to give the point to Playmobil's awesome gift today. But still, Lego has won the year somehow (even though Playmobil had some of the better overall gifts). Final scores are...

And thank you all so much for reading along this year! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

  2. Agreed, we had lots of fun following along everyday as we opened our Lego calendar, and often relied on you to tell us what the hell the vehicles were! I think we should get Ackbar Santa next year. Who do we have to petition to make that happen?

  3. Many thanks for taking the time to do this again this year, your help was greatly needed especially on those dark mornings my son opened up a bag of brown bricks! Those mornings seem so long ago, I never thought Lego would win by such a margin! Now after 3 years I can't really see a new Star Wars calendar until the next film is out! But then again this is Lego!!!!! Have a great Christmas.
