It's day 20 of our vaguely disappointing trek through the Lego Star Wars advent calendar. You know what's difficult? Writing 20 introductions for what usually turns out to be a blocky obscure vehicle or a weapon rack. What the hell do you people want from me? What am I going to say? Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013 Day 15: Geodude.

It's Day 15 of our descent into the inconsistent madness of the Lego Star Wars advent calendar whose quality swings wilder than a blind man playing baseball. Sometimes it's smiles. Sometimes it's frowns. Mostly in baffling blocky renditions of obscure vehicles from Attack of the Clones. Although today my ADVENTure sense is tingling. Yesterday we received the Geonosian Starfighter (which looked like a chocolate crocodile) and I think that was a big clue to what we might be getting today.

It's day number 11 into our sometimes baffling descent into the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar which seems to alternate wildly between giving us hope and punching us in the face. (Or if you bought this for your kids, which a lot of you did, then it's punching your kids in the face). Just one day short of the halfway point we've yet to receive anything that has truly blown us away. Will today be the day. No... Probably not.

It's day 9 of the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar and we are experiencing a minifigure drought! It's drier than the plains of Tatooine, a Bantha's ballsack, Obi Wan's wit, or Aunt Beru's husk. Where are all our smiling, studded-headed heroes? Will it rain today, or are we lost in the desert?
