Metal Mondays: Metalocalypse! (NSFW)

I know this is probably a LITTLE bit preaching to the converted, but for those who aren't - golly.

I actually encountered Metalocalypse via "Thunderhorse", a track on Guitar Hero 2 (was it 2? I'm fairly sure...) and became so in love with the complete awesome face-meltingness that I investigated the filmclip for it. And was, well, pretty damn grossed out.

What a cute bunch of lads.

For those who don't know, Metalocalypse is an Adultswim cartoon concerned with the Biggest Band in the World - Deathklok. And also the eternal search for new levels of heaviness and rock and suchlike. And there's demons and stuff. And also this guy.

I DID want to include a clip of Dr Rockso the Rock and Roll Clown in action, but there's nothing I can watch that doesn't feel horribly filthy. Suffice to say: he is Dr Rockso. He does cocaaaaaine.

But back to the METAL, because we have a subject to focus on. All the shredding is performed by Brendon Small, who wrote the show and does a fair whack of the voices too. ADMIRE THE SHREDDING.

I still - every week or so - consider learning electric guitar so I can teach myself the above amazingness. And then I remember that it would take me forever. And then I just watch the clip again to soothe me.

Hottdamn I feel like cocaine.
