Pitman, NJ: Weird Winter Wonderland

Pitman, NJ is kind of a weird place all year round (it's a town of tiny hobbit sized cottages from the late 1800's), but this time of year the weirdness is off the charts. The center of town becomes a massive gathering of anamatronic dioramas featuring slightly-off versions of the hottest cartoon characters from 10-15 years ago. It's a sight to be seen, very "roadside America"-ish, and now one of my yearly holiday rituals.
