Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 10: Builder.

It's day 10 of our bold trek into the Lego Star Wars advent calendar and we have desperately been dodging giant asteroids of disappointment. Will we be crushed into paste, or will we finally strike gold? Or will we somehow manage to obliviously navigate into a giant space slugs arsehole before confusingly emerging from its mouth? Hey - I saw that movie! How else do you explain what was going on!?

Let's penetrate Door Number 10 and see what we got...

And... it's... a...

A minifigure! Finally! Hooray!

Not a particularly exciting, or unique character, but it is a hearty troop builder and, let's be honest, you can never have too many clones. Unless somebody bizarrely attempts to cram them into your body.

This is a Phase 1 Clone Trooper with the stylish fin on the top of his helmet. This was used for diving into the turbulent waters of Kamino and masquerading as sharks. And once the shark pranks are finished with, the helmet is removable to reveal the surly clone inside...

Another grimacing minifig! I remember the golden days when Lego was all smiles. Notice that the clones are deliberately bred without ears. This is because the average Kaminoans head is a very tempting shape to shove into your lughole. I am all about putting things inside our bodies today.

And for those keeping score, I pit this calendar against the Jurassic Park Playmobil one every day. A minifig is always pretty great in my book, so Lego takes the point today! Go go you crazy Danes!

  1. If you look closely at his face compared to pretty much any other clone, you will notice that the faces are different, I thought was cool. Love the blog by the way!
