Hot Toys The Amazing Spider-Man Available for Pre-Order! Plus More!

It's always exciting when the master artisans at Hot Toys descend from the heavens to reveal their newest product, and this time it's a 1/6th scale Spider-Man collectible figure capturing his golden-eyed appearance in next week's movie reboot The Amazing Spider-Man:

The incredible detail you'd expect is present as always, and it looks like he's quite flexible despite the figure-hugging costume. I certainly prefer it aesthetically to the Tobey Macguire version.

Our good friends at Sideshow Collectibles have him available for pre-order right now. Reserve yours here. He'll be $204.99 once available.

Join me after the jump for some more pics, plus a couple of other high-end items freshly revealed by Sideshow!

Here's some more Amazing Spider-Man! Check out those sneaker soles! Those are fly kicks, Spidey!...

They've yet to fully reveal Andrew Garfield's head sculpt but I would expect it will be like having a tiny Andrew Garfield clone standing really still on your shelf...

And here's a look at the accessories. Basic so far, but a lot of alternate hands and webbing. I think this one's going to look really great when posed. Why not pick him and let him hang out with your Avengers. Do what Sony and Marvel can't!

But that's not all! While we're talking high-end Marvel, check out this Iron Man Mark VII life-size bust from The Avengers!

A life-size bust is a super classy way to make your toy room look more like a museum. And what appeals to me most about this is that he lights up! If you're willing to spend a little more money for a signature/focus piece in a special room then this is pretty killer. It'll be $799.99 and you can pre-order it here

And let's finish up by looking at a couple of 1:4 scale premium format figures! Here's the long awaited C-3PO and R2-D2 premium format figure set:

These guys are also packed with lighting and feature tiny details and moving parts. Again, this is pretty great if you want a special piece as a focus. They're $749.99 and can be pre-ordered here

And finally, here's a comic-style Hawkeye premium format figure (plus exclusive art print). He's wearing the bright purple costume perhaps better known as "The Bullet That Renner Dodged":

Actually, I really love the classic old designs and I think this may be a little camp, but it's also pretty stunning. If you're a huge Hawkeye fan, and I know you're out there, then this has to be one of the best tributes to the character you could hope for. Yes, it's more of special focus piece, but you know it's perfect for someone! He's $349.99 and you can pre-order him here!

If you're into this stuff then stay tuned because we're hoping to have some hands-on reviews of more Hot Toys soon!

  1. Now, I'm no fan of that Hawkeye outfit, but that's a COOL statue.
