Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2012, Day 10: Puppy!

Yesterday was a fine day for the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar, so much so that nearly all was forgiven. We received the taciturn General Veers whose strong work ethic and stern glare was no doubt more than enough to scare your kids straight this Christmas. More stuff from Empire Strikes Back, please!

Will we get our Christmas wish? Find out what's behind Door #10... after the jump!

And it’s a...

PUPPY!

ZOMG! I love him! I promise to walk him every day! And feed him! Can he sleep on my bed?

It should be no surprise that our follow up to General Veers is this fine four-legged AT-AT walker featured prominently in the Battle of Hoth. And being one of the most classic and iconic vehicles to appear in Empire Strikes Back, how can we possibly complain?

Plus now Veers can ride his new robot dog companion to all his important meetings. I can’t wait for Lego minifigs series 9 so that I can get a couple of roller derby girls and attach roller skates to this puppy!

As the epic competition between this calendar and the Playmobil Game of Thrones calendar continues I’m going to have to give Lego the point today for their canine/cyborg ingenuity!

  1. This is the coolest thing yet. I think the mini vehicles are silly, but with some context I would be all over them. Adding the Hoth Rebel base on a snowy white baseplate or if they upped the scale a little bit to work with the Lego games style Microfigures..

  2. I loved this one, along with the star destroyer and Veers. I'm fine with the odd bit of episode 1 stuff, but at the moment the phantom menace is severely out numbering everything else. Hopefully we'll continue to get the awesome iconic stuff like we've had today.
