Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013 Day 16: Racked With Guilt.

It's day 16 of our frustrating love affair with the Lego Star Wars advent calendar which keeps mixing welcome snuggles with punches to the gut. Yesterday was a highlight, as we were graced with the hideous horse-like maw of a Geonosian warrior. But it is rare that we ever receive two great things in a row, so if I were you, I'd brace for the worst...

I was convinced (hopeful?) that Lego had gotten the miscellaneous weapon rack out of their system the other week, but now we get ANOTHER different weapon rack? This time a brown pointy alien one specifically designed to hold the Geonosian warrior's spooky sonar blaster thingy. At the very least they could have skipped the rack, and just given us a mini version of the free-standing Geonosian cannon. COME ON, LEGO!

So now your drone has a gun and... YAAWWAWWWNNNN... excuse me.... I just - YAAAAWWWWWWN - No, really, I'm still enjoying doing this it's just that... ZZZzzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzz...

Seriously, Lego, the only way to make up for this is to give us a minifig of Lando in a red festive Snuggie with a cup of hot cocoa. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

And for those keeping score, each day I pit this calendar against the Jurassic Park Playmobil one. And Lego got its arse kicked today. An easy win for Playmobil!
