Warwick Davis in Life's Too Short (Plus An Idiot Abroad 2 Preview)

Little tidbits have been coming out about this show over the past few months and I've been waiting very patiently. We know that Warwick Davis plays himself in a scripted series about the frustrations he faces on a daily basis. We know it's written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and coming out on BBC2 this fall and HBO in 2012.. and that's about all we know so far.

Finally, a video has been released showing actual scenes from the show. Well.. a tiny bit of a scene.

The new video is mostly footage from the set, but there is about 10 seconds of the show around 5 minutes and 40 seconds into the video. If Warwick Davis is half as good on this show as he was on his episode of Extras (along with Danielle Radcliffe, in my favorite episode of the series), it will be the one of the best shows on TV this fall. I hope the show gets huge.

Here's the video, a preview of both An Idiot Abroad 2 and Life's Too Short, and a few great photos.

A complete side note: I didn't realize Warwick Davis was so young in Return of the Jedi until I saw a video the other day. He was just a kid, and played a damn convincing Ewok. But he never blinked..

  1. I am so freakin' excited for this!

And regarding Warwick Davis' age - I freaked out a while back when I found out he was only in his late teens when he did Willow!
